Our Policy

• We ship only to Continental U.S. addresses.
• All species require USDA permits, except Pogonomyrmex occidentalis.
• AntGear holds the USDA permits — customers do not need them.
• We ship regulated species only if native to both Arizona and the destination state, and covered by our USDA permit.

Why Ants Are Regulated

• They may harm crops and natural habitats.
• They can outcompete native ants and reduce biodiversity.
• Invasive ants are expensive and often impossible to eradicate.
