These tube caps make it easy to move ants from their old test tube to a new home, reducing the overall time required for them to move willingly.

Product Description
Includes 6 test tube caps that fit the tubes of the ants we sell. Each cap has a 3/8″ hole where a vinyl tube will fit into it and connect to the new setup. The primary purpose of these are for a stress-free transfer of the ants from the tube and into another setup.
Note: The ants won’t move unless they are convinced that the new setup is better than what they have now. We recommend making the new nest dark by covering it with something and placing a heat cable on top of it.
Includes the following:
- Two 20mm tube caps (fits 20mm tubes)
- Two 18mm tube caps (fits 18mm tubes)
- Two 16mm tube caps (fits 16mm tubes)
- Three inches of 3/8″ vinyl tubing to be used to connect to the new nest

I can’t recommend these enough. Whether it’s moving a colony between test tube setups or just using this as an adapter to run a tube between the test tube setup and an outworld, these are perfect. They really simplify things when otherwise you might have to jerry rig something yourself. These really work well!

Moving ants is stressful enough, just use these and take that stress away while you enjoy ant keeping. Get the tubing AntGear sells as well, it’s the perfect fit and you’re already getting stuff here anyway.
Easy to handclean as its thin plastic, do NOT put these in the dishwasher.
