Our seed sampler pack includes ten 5-gram containers of seeds we have found to be successful with Pogonomyrmex seed harvesters. The pack includes chia, dandelion, blue grass, rice grass, sand dropseed, hemp hearts, flaxseed, sesame, poppy, and quinoa. Your harvester ants will benefit from a variety of seeds to choose from.
How long do they last?
Despite being only 5-grams per container (these are small containers), our sample pack will last a new founding colony of Pogonomyrmex up to a year. Hint: Keep them in the refrigerator so they stay fresh.
